Here is the After-action Review of 4F's Boxing Day outing on 261206:
1. Attendance:
- Grand Total of 15
- Ang Cheng Zhi, Jasper [Chairperson & Organiser]
- Ang King Kee [Kinky]
- Chan Hian Yi [Honey]
- Gan Cai Fong [Maths Rep]
- Hee Yuen Bao [Sportsman of 2006 for InterVarsity Sporty Award]
- Heng Fookchee [Dude of Year Award]
- Heng Keok Yang, Glenn [Award for not changing much since Sec1]
- Ke Dengyao, Brendan [Resident Mamasan]
- Kwong Shiwei [Turnover of the year award]
- Leong Euxin
- Ong Kee Sian [Poulet the Professional Risk Statistician]
- Pung Wei Jie [Award for Best & Fairest Skin since 4F days]
- See Yong Xuan, Mervyn [BaLa - Lowest center of gravity and fittest man award]
- Sim Wei Yi, Chapman [Multi-talent award and Die Hard Jay Chou supporter award]
- Yuen Wei Jie, Kevin [Most Striking Resemblance to Jonathan Leong Award]
First may the chairperson add that this outing has been one of the most successful ones in recent 4F history. It was really a meaningful, fun and memorable outing. If the overseas boys were still in Singapore, wow, our attendance would've hit 5 more easily.
2. Agenda:
a. 1620: The Curse of the Golden Flower Screening at VivoCity.
- In short, Poulet, the risk management adviser OVERSLEPT and only met the class after the show.
- In short again, this movie was really about suppleness, ampleness, fullness, roundness, adequateness and fleshiness of the Tang Dynasty's women's bossom. It was terribly distracting for us as Euxing constantly wooh-ed and wow-ed and moaned during the show. Shiwei's and honey's hands were found moving around as well. Weiqi thank god you're in the states. Oh, the show had something more, it was about Chappy's Darling Jay Chou. Very handsome and stunning when he weld the Guan Gong's Big Blade. Chappy was caught drooling and grinning in Jay's scenes of self-glorification.
b. Dinner @ Food Republic followed by some intellectual stimulation at Katong Settler's Cafe.
- The chairman adds that the usual laughter and catching up was done at the dinner table.
- Further activity included Poulet treating us to a round of authentic asian soyabean milk, fried fritters, salted hum chee peng, butterfly fritters and red bean and lotus fried puffs. Upon this charitable act, the Mahjong experts in Glenn, Yuenbo and Chapman were starting to think of ways to milk Poulet's thick fat pockets later at night on the mahjong table.
- Interesting food included "Thunder Tea Rice" that wasn't even loud or cracking.
- Glenn, Honey, Brendy & Cai Fong had a round of Jenga that went to a stalemate! Their game kept us all glued to their table and everyone held their breaths as every new piece was removed.
- Chicken rice for supper next and then we proceeded to Chap's house for mahjong.
c. Mahjong
- The chairman upon seeing his boys enjoying themselves at the makeshift gambling den at Chappy's house, smiled to himself and called it a day. At his time of departure, he noticed that Poulet had fell trap to Glenn, Brendy and Pungster and had the unlucky start of sitting at the table of death. What proceeded will be continued by my righthandman Chappy Sim.
3. Conclusion:
Thanks guys for attending. It was really fun [as always] and it really had been a while. Hope all of you enjoyed yourselves. We'll try out best to keep future outings like this at least 10 and above yeah so everyone can really catch up on friendships that perhaps were not built on more during Raffles days. Below are the photos, wasted should have taken more... Alright, till the next one my brothers. And for those overseas, come back soon pls. XOXO - Jasper

An interesting shop name at Food Republic, VivoCity

Another one Sergeant!

Captivated by their game.

Just look at the boys' faces... What has changed after sec sch, JC & Army?!?! Nothing!

Of course, saving the best for the last... One for all the memories...

Guys.. how's everyone? yes... sadly/inevitably... we're into the phase.. or rather, transisting into the phase of our lives where things seem to take on a more matured and wholesome perspective. I agree with what Chappy said... about the realities that he felt after he ORDed. For most of us we might still not be able to grapple with what he said as we are still schooling. However this sense of displacement might soon set in. For me, I'm not able as much as I really want and hope, to meet up with my old friends and you guys. Dispersed all over Singapore in the various Unis and all over the world, we have all also made new friends and took up new commitments in Babies and work[Keesian in his football investments] and others. And sometimes I just feel quite sian and sad in the midst of studies... You know... although I'm happy with the current status of my life, u know the optimistic Jasper u all know, content with the small things in life... some areas like not being able to see u guys or play as much soccer on Sundays really get to me.
Well, as usual, the emo portion of me will always be there. But now back to reality, I second Chappy's suggestion, so:
WE WILL MEET!
PROPOSED DATE: 26 DEC 2006, Tuesday, Boxing Day
PURPOSE: Watch Chappy's Jay Chou's "The Curse of the Golden Flower"
PROPOSED VENUE: VIVOCITY? Sounds cool? We could have a VIVOPARTY there. hurhur.
TIME: TBC, probably dinner at vivocity first.
PROPOSED FURTHER PLANS: Those that can stay, we could just go visit Weiqi's new lan shop at Park Mall to give him some support and like give him our feedback. OR those wanna MJ/pool/chill out and drink somewhere... no worries.
Immediate actions:
- PLS RESPONSE TO THIS PROPOSAL, on tagboard or whatever, sms chapman or me on:
1. whether u can make it
2. If cannot, then which other date?
We will confirm on here or sms again alright guys? Looking forward to meeting u all again and with a good turnout. Prob in the E(X) strength of 10? Allowed Variance of +/-2.
Alright, let the noise begin. Love u all. :)

miss all of u...felt an urge to ramble so here i am... just thought u guys might want to know, ironically, life hasnt been easy since ORD... i thought it would be better but it turned out to be rather stressful...
yeah everyone's busy with school activities, homework and catching up with the babes and sometimes i wish i could go back to a place where there is less to worry about... there is now a pressing need to actually go out into that city jungle and make money and start to function as a "real" adult... no more lazing around in the council room, slacking in office and hanging out with classmates in between lessons... kind of scary actually, since i actually have to start saving up for my marriage, buy a house and pay bills...
the pressure is immense and being alone all the time doesnt help... see u guys around really soon, hopefully before the school bells beckon... love...

first things first... ORD loh!! next, as a member of the jury, i think we should meet up for some mahjong so we can even out the equity of wealth... it is a pressing matter as it is causing unhappiness within the 4f community... i will kindly bestow upon myself the dutiful role of winning back bobo's money... $50 is it?? and now that i'm free, we can play on weekdays at my place...

Your Honor,
I have nothing to say to defend myself, pls find me guilty n let me suffer a hundred deaths.. no, a thousand deaths will not be enuff for a despicable n dishonorable person such as myelf..
Before sending me to the gallows, pls let me say these last words..
1)Always strive to be 2nd best, otherwise u'll get shot like nobody's business
2)Wasabe-flavoured chips are pretty nice to munch on during mahjong
3)when ur SHANG JIA's cf, believe in ur own drawing luck
4)when ur SHANG JIA's me, be in disbelieve of ur luck
5)5 TONG is a good winning tile
6)8 SUO is also not too shabby
7)MEN QING works wonders
8)BAN SE PENG PENG (BSPP) scares the shit out of ppl.. but is seldom achieved
9) the best is still QING YI SE JIANG YAN DU DU
tt's my two pence, eh no, fifty-five dollars worth..
--Guilt-stricken rapist with all the black MJ tiles shuffed up his behind

Your honour,
The accused is a sly and cunning man. He used despicable means to cheat us first of our trust, then of our hard-earned money.
He initially pretended to be losing badly, claiming that we had all HU 4-5 TAIs expect for him. As our original intention of the mahjong was to cheer him up, it made us felt very bad. Furthermore, after having been back from genting, we all knew well how that feeling stings. So being his SHANG JIA, i decided to pang4 qiu4 a bit... That was when we fell deep into his ploy! He began his killing streak!
His first move was to spring an ambush onto honey by snatching away his 5 TONG in a QIANG HU. Catching us off guard, and having the ZHUANG on his hands, he went on a killing spree. He next deprived us of our replenishments by refusing to call in MacDonald's, when in the first place, he was a staunt supporter of the notion that the winner should treat Macs. His final move came when it was a BAO situation of bamboo tiles. I was waiting for the last tile for a QING YI SHE TONG ZHI in my hand. But before that, i had to throw away a 8 SHUO, which i had religiously held on to, as what a good SHANG JIA should always do (though if i were really that good, he wouldn't have 9 tiles out in the first place... but that's beside the point). It was at this crutial moment when the accused deployed his mind tricks. He claimed, in exact words, "Aiya, you all dun need scared la... The tile I'm waiting for is already IMPOSSIBLE to get one lor." Falling for his sweet talk (cuz i THOUGHT he was an honest friend), and having no other choice anyway, i relented and threw the 8 SHUO. With a cold-blooded stare and a wicked grin, he threw opened his tiles, and exclaimed with a diabolic voice, "HU!!!"
Your honour, and the fellow board of 4F jury, pass your judgement unto this wicked and deceitful man. Show him no mercy, as he had shown us none. Make him pay for his inhumane acts, and let justice prevail.

Ever heard of the saying that "Friendships are Priceless"?....
Used to agree with it...
Especially when I have a buddy like XXXX…been hanging arund with him since 1F days…
However, I just realized that just like almost everything in life…
Friendship has a $ tag.. $55 in fact..
Take a look at this court transcript…
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Date: 031206
Scene of Crime: Honey’s Hse
Victims: Ah-Heng, CF, Honey
Defendant: Bobo ( real name unknown…)
Defendant was fetched from his NTU dorm (right from his door-step) to scene of crime.
Victims and Defendant are former secondary classmates who gathered for a game of Scrabble.
Defendant lamented on his ‘state of poorness’ and looked really pitiful and low. Being his caring friends, the 3 victims showed their concern for their dear friend. Evidence of impeccable hospitality offered to defendant was also present (potato chips, nuts & various snacks were left at scene of crime)
Defendant suggested a game of harmless Mahjong to cheer him up. Victims, being staunch anti-gamblers, were initially hesitant but relented in a bid to cheer him up.
In a sudden twist of events… the following happened…. (Parental supervision advised)
1) Defendant Snatched a man3-tai2 win from Honey
2) Defendant lian2-zhuang1 for 4….no…5...correction...6 rounds...
3) Defendant man3-tai2 twice/thrice
4) Defendant sneered and gave the $ thirsty look to his helpless “friends”
5) Defendant convinced victim CF to throw a tile that resulted in him bao1-ing. for ah-heng & honey
6) Victims CF and Honey were robbed of $5 & $8
7) Victim Ah-heng was robbed of $42 and that was after he was kicked in the face by the defendant
8) Defendant forced victims to send him back to NTU
9) Defendant left victims with no $ for breakfast
Your Honour,
This clearly shows the dark side of man..
3 innocent friends out to help ended up bruised, hurt, raped and robbed
Defendant showed no signs of remorse
I recommend that he be kicked out of 4F or have the bill to a brewerks/NYNY visit served to him..
He deserves no less…
