"House of Flying daggers"

Hey guys, just a quick update... we (Bobo, Buck, Nick, Glenn and me) went to catch this action film at Lido... oh yeah, bumped into Jasp and friends there... heh... the show was 9.45pm but Bobo and Buck met up with me to go for dinner first... went Scotts to eat Thai Food... nice curry...

Takeshi Kaneshiro is really yandao man, also would say that Zhang Ziyi has a DAMN HOT BOD... very thin but got very nice curves... so sorry i didnt mention Andy, you're getting too old for my liking, besides you weren't being very nice in the movie...

Well, House of Flying Daggers was supposed to be serious and solemn but somehow Zhang Yimou made the show so corny and so dramatic that it became quite a hilarious show. very good CG and stunt choreography... go watch it guys! Here's a synopsis if you want me to spoil it slightly...

Unrest rages throughout the land, and the corrupt government is locked in battle with rebel armies that are forming in protest. The largest and most prestigious of these is the "House of Flying Daggers," which is growing ever more powerful under a mysterious new leader.

Two local captains, Leo (Andy Lau) and Jin (Takeshi Kaneshiro) are ordered to capture this new leader. As part of their elaborate plan, Captain Jin will pretend to be a lone warrior called Wind and will rescue the beautiful, blind revolutionary Mei (Zhang Ziyi) from prison, earning her trust, and escort her to the secret headquarters of the House of Flying Daggers. The plan works, but to their surprise, Jin and Mei fall deeply in love on their long journey to the House.

Danger lurks in the forest surrounding them, and the wind is still, as if sensing the tension in the air. What lies ahead for Jin and Mei, these star-crossed lovers? If this is true love, then why are there plots in their heads...and secrets in their hearts?

"Jasp with a bang and a blast..."

i used to blog when i didn't even keep a journal, now i rarely blog but i journal down as often as every other day. both are basically keeping diary entries but in vastly different ways. ok i can see all your expressions to tell me to quit this attempt at being the least philosophical. right now i'm SLEEPY. any army guy would tell you apart from the physical and mental shit to endure, we also face the mighty ZzZZzz-Monster. Its prowess are well known throughout. it is so powerful that in camp, it can inflict pain and damage to u in the form of either verbal warnings, scoldings or extras. the only safe place to face its onslaught is really in your own home. it is attacking me as i'm typing this entry now.

at least today was kinda different from the usual things i used to do during normal bookouts on saturdays. may only have the company of a single brother for the night, but sure we enjoyed the missed past-times of lan-gaming and suppers. made me feel human and civilan again. feeling pretty detached from the outside world.. and friends. everyone seems busy enjoying their last bits of what has been a very long break before a new phase of their lives in tertiary education starts next week. they seem to be caught up in those orientation camps for freshies and what nought. just like the first 3 months of jc. new schools, new environment, new subjects, new people, new friends, exciting enough...makes u wonder at times what in the blue hell you're wearing green for.

should stop here, though its too short to mark my comeback with a bang and blast.

"aH dUi*"

aH dUi*... how come this place is so dead... or is everyone dead? haha... can someone teach me stats? really dont know how to do... btw, i nearly died a few days ago... had a fever 38.6C... damn hot... anyway, i just learnt something... i might be able to study Uni with all of you guys... Here's how it works!

I'll be enlisting Dec 2004, so i enjoy the half year discount! hee... you guys get only 2months, but that's not bad as well... ok so assuming you guys enlisted in Mar 2004, you'll be out by about Jun 2006. Those who went in earlier will come out earlier and WAIT for uni to start. Uni starts around July if i'm not wrong so you all will make it for Uni by Jul 2006. I supposedly ORD by Dec 2006, but i can apply to ORD a few months earlier! which means i'll apply to come out 5 months earlier, then make up for that period using my school holidays... oh well, somehow i feel that coming out 5 months earlier sounds ridiculous, but that's what my mum said could happen!

Hope for the best! Hee... take care guys! hang in there...
